Low-Dose Vitamin K2 MK-7 — Long-Acting Menaquinone-7 for Bone & Cardiovascular Health

Vitamin K2 is one of the most underappreciated nutrients for long-term health. Unlike K1, which is rapidly cleared by the liver within 8 hours, Vitamin K2 as MK-7 (menaquinone-7) remains biologically active in the body for up to 72 hours after ingestion — providing a more consistent, sustained supply to bones and arteries. Human studies show K2 is up to 10x more bioavailable than K1. This low-dose 45mcg formula is ideal for those already getting some K2 from diet or other supplements who want targeted, gentle daily support.*

Key Benefits

  • Bone Density Support — Vitamin K2 facilitates the transport of calcium from the bloodstream into bone, supporting healthy bone density and reducing undercarboxylated osteocalcin*
  • Arterial & Cardiovascular Health — activates Matrix Gla-protein (MGP), a potent inhibitor of arterial calcification, helping keep calcium out of artery walls and in bones where it belongs*
  • MK-7 (All-Trans Menaquinone-7) — the most bioavailable and longest-acting form of K2; active for 72 hours vs. 8 hours for K1*
  • Rotterdam Heart Study Supported — large-scale 7-year trial of 4,800 participants showed higher K2 intake corresponded to better cardiovascular outcomes and less aortic calcification*
  • Low Dose 45mcg — ideal for those supplementing K2 as part of a D3+K2 stack or seeking gentle daily maintenance support
  • Non-GMO | 90 Softgels — a 90-day supply at 1 softgel per day

The Science: K2, MGP & Arterial Calcification

Vitamin K is required by calcium-regulating proteins in the arteries. Matrix Gla-protein (MGP) must be carboxylated (activated by K2) to function properly. Poor K2 status leads to inactive uncarboxylated MGP (ucMGP), which accumulates at sites of arterial calcification. Without adequate K2, calcium in the blood can bind to arterial walls — a process that worsens with age even at subclinical deficiency levels. Animal studies suggest adequate K2 intake not only blocks further calcium accumulation but may induce regression of preformed arterial calcification.*
